CHALLENGE
Buxom wanted to establish their uncontested authority as the leader of lip-plumping within the beauty category with a new campaign promoting the Holographic Full-On Plumping Lip Polish Top Coats product. They were interested in engaging with digitally-minded millennials with a social media campaign which would elevate their presence on Instagram as well as generate overall brand awareness to drive market growth within this very important consumer sector.

SOLUTION
I took this as an opportunity to create key brand visuals that would not only sell the product benefits but would elevate the online brand story. I brought to life the multi-channel visual campaign through a series of digital banners, social media and as a Snapchat filter, ensuring that each piece of communication had a common visual thread running through it — ensuring that a powerful and consistent message was delivered.

I introduced shiny, holographic textures for the backgrounds which captured the vibrancy and excitement of the very unique and fun product line. The smooth prismatic pearls within the gloss were a unique selling point and this stunning product feature was captured with animated graphic sparkles in the engaging and visually exciting format of a Snapchat filter.

RESULTS
Not only was the Holographic Full-On Plumping Lip Polish Top Coats campaign fun, playful and engaging but it greatly elevated Buxom as a brand on social media, leading to a substantial increase in new followers.
